GEOGRAPHY - CLIMATE - LOCAL
Located in the Lower Laurentians, the vineyard is situated in climate zone 5a near the 45th parallel. This region conducive to the cultivation of the vine due to its high thermal units (UTM) is comparable to that of Marlborough in New Zealand. The growing season begins in early May and ends around October 25th. Frost-free period is usually between 140 and 180 days. Well oriented with a slight slope, the soil is 70% of a clay and limestone and 30% silt and sand. Well-drained, this soil is favorable for viticulture.
